Park concert Friday
The fiddling Quebe Sisters will appear in concert Friday in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
The Texas-based group is composed of sisters Hulda, Sophia and Grace Quebe.
They were preteens when they began winning state and national championships. They have evolved from a precocious Western swing fiddle group to a hot young adult all-Americana band. The sisters have released three albums.
They grew up in Burleson, a suburb of Fort Worth. They made their fiddling debut in 1998 when the girls were 7, 10 and 12.
The Quebe Sisters began professionally two years later.
They will perform at 8 p.m. in the Happy Days Lodge off state Route 303 in Boston Heights. That’s off state Route 303 west of state Route 8.
Tickets are $17 for adults and $5 for children 3 to 12.
Advance tickets are available at 330-657-2909, option 4, or at www.conservancyforcvnp.org. Click on “Events.”
