Valley concert
Fiddler-violinist Ed Caner will host a house concert on Sunday in the Cuyahoga Valley.
The show will be staged at 7 p.m. at the Hines Hill Conference Center, 1403 W. Hines Hill Road, Boston Township.
Tickets are $10.
The doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The facility is not accessible to those in wheelchairs.

Tuba concert
The Tuba-Fours, an all-volunteer group of tuba players, will present an 60-minute concert on Tuesday for Summit Metro Parks.
The show including holiday tunes by the nine tuba players will be staged at 7 p.m. at the Coventry Oaks Pavilion at Firestone Metro Park. That’s off Axline Avenue in South Akron.
The name refers to the four-part harmony of the music.
The Tuba-Fours are members of the Metro Parks Ensemble.

Trail reopening — The Portage Park District is celebrating the reopening of the Portage Hike and Bike Trail between Oakwood Street in Ravenna and Lake Rockwell Road in Franklin Township.
