Holiday music
Local duo Tina Bergmann and Bryan Thomas will present a holiday concert on Friday in the Cuyahoga Valley.
The show will be staged at 8 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Happy Days Lodge off state Route 303 west of state Route 8 in Boston Heights.
The show by the husband-wife team will feature traditional seasonal music, American fiddle tunes and waltzes, string band rags, Celtic jigs, reels, South American gems and classical pieces.
Bergmann is an acclaimed hammer dulcimer player and teacher. Thomas is a versatile double bassist, teacher and freelance musician in Northeast Ohio.
The show is part of the park’s Heritage Concert Series.
Tickets are $17 for adults and $5 for children 3 through 12.

Irish holidays
The Irish ensemble Danu will entertain in a holiday concert on Wednesday in the Cuyahoga Valley.
The show is entitled A Christmas Gathering.
It will be staged at 8 p.m. in the Happy Days Lodge off state Route 303 in Boston Heights.
The group hails from County Waterford and is one of the leading traditional Irish ensembles today.
Snacks and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available through the Conservancy Canteen.
